It's Thursday morning,
Yesterday, I attended a talk by my partner Marilyn Scott-Waters. She did a great job. I always enjoy watching her interact with people. Our friend Mac McCool set the whole thing up with a college illustration class. I enjoyed talking with the students - they were AMAZING artists! The talent in the room was brilliant. I got to talk to one of the students a little more about style and consistency. It was very insightful.
On another note, the new website is coming! I am working with a really great developer named Cyril. My entire site will be based on one of my favorite things - a cabinet of curiosities. If you have never seen one, look it up on Google. They are odd, but they are really cool. I feel like I have a lot in common with them. They have lots of little nooks and crannies filled with interesting collections. Not everything for everybody, but a little something here and there for everyone.

Eyeore. I know he's not that "odd," but for a grown woman, it's a bit weird. I just like that he looks so sad, but yet he can laugh at himself (think about his getting scared by Piglet one Halloween). Consequently, I have about half a dozen Eyeore desk items & "cuddles" in my home office.
