Okay,
Back to the land of the living. The hut has been christened and we had a great party with all of our friends to celebrate the success of my work, my business partner's work - Marilyn Scott- Waters, and the Discovery Arts charity that we support.
It was a wonderful evening. So many people dared the weather and got here from long distances. We had close to a hundred people at our home - editors, publishers, writers, artists, academics, drama, bookstore owners, charity workers, and business folks from all over.
The entire night made us realize how very lucky we are to be involved and be friends with so many wonderful people. We really do love them all... What great people.

It was a blast! These are truly wonderful, kind, creative people. Such a fun mix of people, too: CUI, UCI, SCBWI, OCI, MV, etc., etc. Nice to bring several parts of our lives together & to find out that they work well together. Good times!
It was a great party!
Being a troglodyte, I don't go out much --especially if there are people there--but I had so much fun talking with clever people.
I want a hut now!
