Friday morning and I am finishing comic books for the Ms. Knox third grade class! We had a lot of fun making different kinds of books this year. We even had editorial and art layout meetings! The entire project was great. I will post examples of some of the work on my website or on the blog later this weekend.
What do you do to help your local school or library?

I work in the boys' classrooms every week for a couple hours - today alone I was there 6 hours helping finish up things for the final days of school. Mostly I help the struggling students with language arts and math, but I also do the typical "room mom" things (filing papers, scrapbooking, etc.). As a teacher, I know how much parents are needed (and appreciated) in the modern classroom!
