A new morning and a new schedule

Staying on Schedule - The hut update!

Well, the hut is in and my new work schedule is set up. It all goes in place as of this morning. I am on my time to check email, the web, blog, etc. and then OFF OFFFF OFFFFF TO THE HUT! Every day I will work on my dissertation. I have to be finished with it by the end of summer - freedom! But the nice part is, after I work on the dissertation every morning, I get to work on my kids books - WONDERFULICIOUS!

At first, I was a little worried about putting myself on such a rigorous schedule. But now, I realize it will give me some consistency and let me do what I love - every single day. It is worth the sacrifice of the feeling of a free schedule to actually get to work in your passion every day of your life. How cool is that!

Also, I have a good friend and colleague making time out of her busy life and schedule to help me get organized and set up for business. She will work as my assistant and on the fly editor, as well as help with the business of writing and promotion. It is a funny thing to prepare yourself as a "product." I have never quite gotten used to it - no matter what branch of entertainment or business I have worked in. One thing is for sure, it gets easier when you just let it go and do what you have to do to keep working (and eating!).

Just a test to see if this works! I know you wrote this a while ago but it has taken me even longer to get to the idea of Blogging. Still, I am here. Does that make me a blogger, am I blogging or do you have to have your own blog to do so? Talk to you soon!

Well,

You have now commented on a blog, so I guess you are a blogger! To answer your questions, you do not need to maintain your own blog to answer on an established blog. Being here is the most important part! Once you get in the swing of things, you may want to start your own blog...

Any chance I get to find out who you are (even off of the blog)? You can always email me through my website and let me know!

I know set schedules are good, but I am so bad at following them! Maybe your example will help me. I know I would be so much more productive - and actually get to write, which is what I want to do - if I just scheduled the "must do" stuff first thing in the day, knowing that the best stuff would come later.
